TOCKINGTON Manor School have been crowned national champions after they took part in the 22nd Annual National Preparatory Schools' Cross Country Championship at Malvern College.
Over a thousand athletes from more than eighty schools from Scotland to Cornwall brought athletes to the event.
And Tockington Manor School's Under-13 boys saw off all the opposition to win the Small Schools Trophy.
All of Tockington's athletes did well, with Alex Grocott coming third in the race and winning a bronze medal for his efforts. Grocott's medal was all the more pleasing as he was competing in the Under-13 race even though he is only in Year Seven at school.
Tockington Manor's winning Under-13 team were Tom Edwards, Ollie Shutt, Alex Jacobi, Grocott, George Symonds and Max Curtis.
