FORMER Yate Town ace Tyrone Mings is having a medical with new Premier Division outfit Bournemouth ahead of an expected £8 million record-breaking transfer to the south coast club.
Mings, who played at Lodge Road with Yate Town as a teenager before moving up the ladder, has been a crucial cog at Ipswich Town and was expected to move to the Premier League, possibly with Arsenal, back in the January transfer window.
Then, his father Adie Mings said that Tyrone would not be moving from Portman Road but may go in the summer transfer window.
And, at 4.15pm today (Thursday), Tyrone Mings was having a medical at Bournemouth and, if he passed, the transfer would be confirmed later in the day.
