TRACY Jones has been crowned as the winner of the 2015 Thornbury Ladies’ Club Championship
In total,18 ladies took part in the championship which was held last month. It was a stroke play competition over 36 holes and the scores were quite close on day one.
Jones recorded a gross score of 82 to win the title and the nett winner was Carol Symonds with a nett 66.
Jones held onto her lead on the second day and with a gross score of 85 to win the championship after two days of consistent golf. Annie Griffin was the gross runner-up with scores of 87 and 82, which was only two shots difference.
