THORNBURY A won their first match of the season away at Vivo Sports by four matches to one. Ryan Wilson was particularly impressive dropping just one point on his way to a 9-1, 9-0, 9-0 victory. Ewan Smith, Alex McMillan and Alex Hall were also winners.
Thornbury C won at home to BAWA B by a margin of 4-1 after their comfortable victory last week. Justin Edwards lead from the top of the order with an assured 3-0 win, there were also wins for Cliff Hall, Dale Curtis and Nige Tovey.
Thornbury D also won their first match of the season at home to Keynsham A. All five players won with Thornbury taking maximum points in a 19-3 victory. Ian Talbot showed of his racquet skills with an excellent 3-1 victory at the top of the order, there were also wins for Ian Johnson, Nick Clifton, Colin Preece and Bill Ellis.
