THORNBURY A are celebrating after becoming champions of the Stroud and District League division one.
And just to make sure, they won it in style with a 9-1 triumph over Cirencester.
Len Vowles and Julian Elisbury each scoring maximums in the victory to cement the title.
And, in Division Three, Thornbury C remain second despite losing 7-3 away to Whiteshill C and Viv Wilkie finishing unbeaten for the visitors.
