ENGLAND head coach Eddie Jones has praised former Thornbury Broncos and Castle School student Billy Vunipola after yet another Six Nations Championship man of the match display on Saturday.

Vunipola was outstanding as England landed the Grand Slam for the first time since 2003, ending the tournament in the way he began – with a massive display that has put him firmly in the national number eight starting position for the future.

Jones said, after England won 31-21 in an absorbing climax championship: "Billy is a young kid who loves playing rugby and who would play in the backyard.

"He loves being one of the boys. He is in the dressing room now, dancing, drinking a protein shake while all the other boys are having beers. He is big and he is quite powerful and he has got rugby sense."
