Alveston141ao beat Stoke Gifford 64ao by 77 runs
ANOTHER solid performance by Alveston second team saw them gain a good win against Stoke Gifford, winning by 77 runs at home. Batting first, Andy(20) and Billy Plummer (41 not out) gave the home team a target to defend of 141 with Lewis Jefferies (4-26) and Lewis Russell(3-22) being the pick of the visiting bowlers.
In reply, Stoke Gifford were in trouble early on and never recovered from the onslaught.
Sam Isaacs (2-18) and Nasir Ali (2-13) were in great form and removed the top order with Sam Rowsell cleaning up the rest of the Stoke Gifford team with 5-18 from his overs.
And that left Stoke Gifford to crash to 64all out.
