TWENTY primary and prep schools and over 450 children competed in the inter-schools cross country race at Westonbirt School last week.

Westonbirt Head Mrs Natasha Dangerfield said of the event: “We were thrilled to host another amazing cross country event this year. Despite the blustery conditions the runners participated with enthusiasm and great sporting spirit.

"We were delighted to welcome hundreds of pupils from prep and primary schools across the region to enjoy our beautiful school grounds.”
