Winterbourne United Reserves 1 Olveston 3
OLVESTON continued their impressive recent form with a 3-1 away win v Winterbourne United Reserves.
Matt Knight opened the scoring for the visitors from a tight angle after some good work down the left. Winterbourne posed a threat but were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half which changed the flow of the game.
The flat surface suited Olveston and their passing game was duly rewarded with a sharp finish from the edge of the 18 yard box from Luke Garbacz.
The game looked under Olveston's control but Winterbourne pulled themselves back into the game just before half time with a neat finish in a crowded penalty area to leave the game poised at 2-1.
The second half brought more of the same flowing football and George Williams added to his tally with a well taken goal to finish off a tidy passage of play.
