JAMES Puddy, from Fromeside Gymnastics, became a British champion last weekend.
He attended the Under-14s British Championship in London and took the British Pommel title.
Puddy went on to have an impressive performance on floor giving him a fourth place position and a tenth overall placing out of a field of 58 competitors.
Karen Brewer, who is the boys’ head coach at Fromeside, said: “James has been working exceptionally hard on perfecting his gymnastics routines.
“He’s become a real role model for our younger gymnasts, proving to them that if you work hard, they can achieve things.”
