OLVESTON United progressed to their second cup final of the season with a 1-0 home win against Shaftesbury Crusade.
Olveston took the lead midway through the first half after a defensive mistake was capitalised on with a neat through ball which George Williams duly despatched.
Shaftesbury battled hard and were always in the game but were restricted to few opportunities after Olveston’s defence turned in their second clean sheet in two weeks.
Man of the match was teenager Ash Richter who was composed and steady as a rock in the centre of midfield, showing skill beyond his 17 years.
