OLVESTON and District Bowling Club have hosted their first sponsored match of the season against Bradley Stoke.
Pristine and Clean Window and Gutter Cleaning Ltd owner Richard Symonds was on hand to see Olveston's winning rink pick up the prize.
"This is our first year sponsoring Olveston," said Richard, "and I'm pleased to see the club lifting the honours this afternoon".
The winning rink of Richard Bennett, Angela Greenslade, Jim Whitehart and Len Hall are pictured with their bottles of Prosecco.
"It's been a good afternoon for us" said Geoff Cook, Olveston captain for the day.
"We had to stop for a short hail shower but once we got back on the green, our rink not only lifted the prize but we came out winners overall"
