League Cup final
Olveston United 1 Cribbs Reserves 3
OLVESTON United went into their second Cup Final in a week and unfortunately couldn't complete the cup couble.
Cribbs Reserves ran out 3-1 winners in a close match between two good footballing sides.
In the first half, both sides had limited chances and neither team capitalised on the opportunities they did have and the scores remained unchanged at half time.
Cribbs came out strong and took the lead after Olveston failed to clear their lines.
Cribbs then doubled their lead after a quick attack down the left hand side to leave the O's with a mountain to climb with 25 mins to play.
Olveston did pull a goal back after George Williams picked himself up from a foul inside the box and duly converted the penalty.
Cribbs responded almost immediately to put them back to two goals clear and held on for the last few minutes.
Olveston also managed to go the entire season, including pre-season!, without losing a single match at home in both league and cup matches.
