OVER 13,000 runners and twenty thousand spectators ran and lined the city for the ever-popular Bristol 10k.

Dylan Roberts found himself at the front of the field on the starting line and got sucked into the fast early pace with the top runners, before settling down in to a steadier rhythm.

His time of 39:11mins in 234th place was especially good considering this was his first ever road 10k.

Kevin Wood was next in 46:03mins in 1,441st place and was well placed in the competitive MV60 age category, narrowly missing out on a top ten position.
