THORNBURY seconds will face Stone this weekend after going down to defeat at Poulton in the Gloucestershire County League Division Two last weekend.
Thornbury lost the toss and fielded as Poulton made 270-3 with their opener Mark Burton hitting a mammoth 150.
Peter Wookey was Thornbury seconds’ best bowler with two wickets.
In reply Thornbury struggled to reach the total although there were some decent knocks as James Tunnicliffe hit 29, Andy Weeks struck 30 and Alex Allen scored 37 in their total of 199 all out.
