THORNBURY Town first team and reserves recently held their end of season presentation evening following both sides finishing th in their respective leagues.

This was the third season in succession that the first team, under Andy Davies' stewardship, had finished in fourth pfourlace.

Central defender Nathan Sage picked up both the first team Players Player and Supporters Player of the Year award, whilst Joe Guest picked up the Manager's Player of the Year award.

Meanwhile the reserves team's Players Player of the Year Award went to Will Howard and the Managers Player of the Year was Mike Thomas.

Pete Webber picked up the Clubman of the Year award whilst the Presidents Trophy was awarded jointly to Toni Watola and Richard Shorey in recognition of all the time and effort they have put in towards the proposed ground improvements at the Mundy Fields.

First team manager Andy Davies is determined to improve on last seasons 4th place finish as the club look to gain promotion to the Toolstation Western League. Pre-season training for all current and any prospective new players will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, starting on Tuesday 27th June at 6:30pm at the Mundy Fields.
