THORNBURY Lawn Tennis Club has gone through a transformation in recent years.
Not only have the grounds and clubhouse been updated but the coaching programme continues to produce exceptional junior players. Many of these players regularly compete in LTA organised events and also represent the club in the adult summer league.
The summer holidays offer the opportunity for juniors to compete in regional tournaments which attract hundreds of entrants across all age groups. Thornbury juniors entered a number tournaments including the Torbay Open, Cardiff Open, Burnham-on-Sea Open and the season ending County Championships.
The juniors enjoyed significant success, including Kyle Broadley who was successful at the Wincanton Open.
This reflects the hard work they have put in throughout the year. The juniors are preparing for the County Cup in October.
