Thornbury Town Reserves 6 Cotswold Rangers 1
THORNBURY Town Reserves secured an emphatic win against Cotswold Rangers at the Mundys on Saturday, taking the lead after a couple of minutes through Asher Budd.
The visitors had no answer for Town’s attacking play and Budd went on to complete a hat-trick in the first half hour.
Not surprisingly, they eased off a little with the visitors pulling a goal back just before the break.
However, a dominant display in the second half saw Town regain the initiative and leading scorer Josh Reed notched the fourth before providing the assist for Jake Budd to score the fifth goal.
Nathan Irwin rounded off the scoring with a fine individual goal beating player after player before rounding the keeper.
