THORNBURY Town have gone ten points clear at the top of the Gloucestershire County League as they beat Wick 4-1 at the Mundys Playing Field and saw second-placed Lebeq United go down to a shock away defeat to mid-table Little Stoke.

It means that, with ten games left of the season, Thornbury have clear water towards the title although Lebeq still have a game in hand to play on the leaders.

Frampton United won 3-1 at Hardwicke but Kingswood struggled again and lost their 15th match from twenty starts when going down 2-0 away at Henbury.
