FORMER Thornbury junior Charlie Powell made his international debut last weekend when he played for England 18s.
He helped his country to an emphatic 42-14 win over Wales in Pontypridd.
Charlie, who has already played for Bristol this season despite still being at Bristol Grammar School, came on as a second half substitution.
He made a good impact when on the pitch, but left the field with a hamstring injury shortly before the end.
