IT is a real battle at the top for Thornbury today in the West of England Premier League Prem 2 Glos/Wilts division.
And Thornbury will be aiming to bounce back after losing their unbeaten record in the division last week when they lost Cheltenham.
They hold a one-point lead over second-placed Dumbleton whom they meet at Dumbleton Cricket Club.
So if Thornbury win, they will take a massive stride towards the title but, if they lose, it will see them off the top of the table and chasing today’s opponents.
Meanwhile, Rockhampton will be looking to gain their second win of the season when they host Westbury and District at The Boundary Field.
The Rams beat Lechlade a fortnight ago but lost away at Corsham last week.
Chipping Sodbury will be looking to put the pressure on the top two in the Gloucestershire County League today.
They play Redmarley and are looking to make it a third win in a row.
Cam, meanwhile, are in need of points as they look to get out of the relegation zone and will also be looking for their third win in a row when they host Corse and Staunton in the Gloucestershire County League.
