FORMER Bristol City trainee Ross Stearn has given Almondsbury Town’s title chances a boost by rejecting a move to Clevedon Town.
The Southern League Premier side put in a seven-day bid for the winger but he opted to stay at Oaklands Park.
Almondsbury manager Richard Thompson said: “He wants to see the season out with us and look at his options in the summer.
“If Almondsbury go up we will give him the good level of football he needs, if not it’s up to him to have a look and see if he fancies a change.”
