Gloucestershire County League: Frampton United 3 Chipping Sodbury Town 0 (Match abandoned)
10:38am Thursday 14th February 2013 in Yate and Sodbury Sport
THIS game was abandoned in the 82nd minute after Frampton United’s Zac Tyers was taken to hospital with a broken leg.
He collided with the visitors’ keeper when going for a 50-50 ball with Frampton leading 3-0, and they are now waiting to hear from the County League whether the game will have to be replayed.
A ball pushed out wide by Tom Patterson and then crossed to Karl Palmer was eventually headed home by Steve Jackson on 19 minutes to put the home side in front.
Lee Driver-Dickerson set up Ryan Vincent to round a defender to score the second in the 49th minute.
A free kick in the 69th minute found Jackson free on the edge of the box and he drove the ball home for number three.
