Richard Peters from Yate runs sixth fastest ever British time for indoor mile

RICHARD PETERS has moved to sixth on the UK All-Time list for the indoor mile.

The runner, who grew up in Yate and is now at College in America, clocked three minutes, 56.04 seconds in a meeting in Boston, shaving 1.79 seconds off his personal best.
