Western League Premier Division
Winterbourne United 1 Hengrove Athletic 3
WINTERBOURNE United failed to take home advantage on the 3G surface and Hengrove Athletic inched up the table away from immediate danger of the drop with a convincing win.
Hengrove looked more comfortable in attack and took the lead midway through the first half when Rhys Hickory scored.
In the second period the Winterbourne defence failed to curtail Henbury front man Wayne Pearce and he broke through on two occasions to put his side 3-0 in front.
Late in the match the home side grabbed what proved to be just a consolation goal from Alex Monks.
