Yate Town Reserves 3 Gala Wilton 5
YATE Town Reserves shocked high-flying Gala Wilton when they rushed into a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes.
Jordan Hickman started the ball rolling after six minutes when he rushed clear of the visitors' defence to open the scoring.
Four minutes later Liam Pullen rounded the keeper to make it 2-0.
Hickman was involved in the third goal when he broke down the flank and crossed into the box for Lewis Hughes to net.
Gala took their time but suddenly realised what had happened and hit back on 27 minutes when Ryan Hughes scored at the far post following a free kick.
An unfortunate header into his own net by Joe Guest in the 36th minute pulled the score back to 3-2 by the break.
The visitors took just two minutes into the second half to level the score with a free kick from Dave Wilkinson.
Liam Halliday then increased the lead and a fifth goal from Lee Allen spoiled the day for the young Yate side.
