TOM Warren has joined Yate Town for the third time.
The defender confirmed his return on Twitter today and will feature in the pre-season friendly against League One side Swindon Town this evening (7.30pm).
He said: “Very grateful to be back at club I have played my best and loved being at the most.”
Warren first joined Yate from Bitton in the summer of 2009 and he returned to the club in 2011 after a brief spell at Almondsbury Town, who disbanded at the time.
He was named Supporters’ Player of the Season after helping Yate reach the first round proper of the FA Cup and finish sixth in Division One South & West of the Southern League in 2012-13 but a mass exodus saw him join Shortwood United before he moved on quickly to Bridgwater Town.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone captain Ibrahim Kargbo is set to face Yate after joining Swindon on trial.
