ST NICHOLAS Ladies begin their season in the newly-formed FAWPL away to Swindon Town on Sunday.
The Chipping Sodbury-based club enter the league in South West Division One, having won the South West Women’s Premier League last season to make it five consecutive promotion since starting in women’s football in 2009.
St Nicholas will continue to play home games at Yate Town's Lodge Road ground after an agreement between the clubs was reached once more.
They have drawn a big tie early in the season with Cardiff City due to visit in the first round of the inaugural FAWPL League Cup competition on Sunday, August 31.
This is a return fixture of last season’s FA Women’s Cup tie at Cardiff, where St Nicholas put on a good showing but lost 3-0.
