HANHAM Athletic gained a valuable win over Yate Town Reserves after an indifferent start to the season.
Adam Grinter turned in the box to give the home side the lead on 17 minutes, but Yate's Anton Dowe levelled the score on 31 minutes.
George Cryer broke clear of the visitors' defence to put Hanham 2-1 up on 61 minutes.
Two late goals in the 84th and 87th minutes from Billy Hodge, the second a 35-yard drive into the roof of the net, gave Hanham the points.
