HARRY Gwilliam scored the single point for Thornbury A when they entertained a strong Frampton A team in Division One.

Bob Murray and Bill Dawe both scored maximums and Abu Saleh bagged a brace.

Saleh and Dawe sealed the 9-1 win with the doubles.

Yate were forced to play with two when they entertained Forest Green A.

Andy Cox did well, picking up two points for the home side.

But one each for Alan Giles and Dave Adamson and a brace for Dave Harvey gave the visitors an 8-2 win after Adamson and Harvey won the doubles.

In Division Two, the points were shared at 5-5 when Randwick A played Thornbury B.

Dan Ind was on top form for the home side with a maximum and Ray Bassett and Jim Hurford won one each.

Gavin Rogers and Simon Lewis each scored a brace for Thornbury and combined to win the doubles.

Frampton B made light work of their Thornbury C hosts, dropping only two games on their way to another 10-0 victory.

Dave Pearce, Kim Selfe and Rob Munson did the damage for Frampton.

A full-strength Pessimists side entertained and beat the visiting two-man Woodchester C 8-2.

Pat Pumphrey and John Bunn were unbeaten in singles and doubles and John Smith edged another in five.

A brace for Pete Seville was the total of the scoring for Fampton D as they lost 2-8 to the visiting Cam C in Division Four.

Steve Heaven scored a maximum and there were two wins apiece for Marcia Heaven and Tony Powell before Steve and Marcia Heaven won the doubles in three.
