Bristol Telephones 1 Yate Town Reserves 3
THERE was a big surprise at Bristol Telephones where Yate Town Reserves came away with a comfortable success.
Yate opened the scoring on 21 minutes when Mike Alvis found himself with a one on one situation and slotted the ball past keeper Aaron Gratebanks.
New signing and debutant Paul Coles swivelled on the edge of the box to score with a low drive to level the score on 60 minutes.
Alvis then put the visitors back in front when he latched on to a long ball that beat the home defence.
Substitute Anton Dowe then secured the points for Yate when he made it 3-1 on 80 minutes.
