Thornbury A made it four wins in a row with a convincing 16-5 victory over promotion rivals Lansdown A.
There were comfortable wins for the Davidson brothers but the stand out performance of the night came from Ewan Smith winning 3-0 whilst dropping only 5 points in the process. Ryan Wilson also came out on top after a hard fought 3-2 battle.
The win sees Thornbury move to joint top of the Bristol and District Premier B table. Thornbury B lost out to Weston B by the margin of 4 matches to 1 but the result was closer than it sounds as Justin Edwards and Cliff Hall were both edged out 3-2 in their matches. Dale Curtis had the only win of the night with a 3-1 victory.
Thornbury D recorded their third straight win, defeating BAWA C by 16 points to 7. Pete Bowen returned to form with a comfortable 3-0 win at the top of the order. Ian Johnson and Colin Preece both won 3-1 and Nick Clifton battled back from match point down in the third set to win 3-2.
