Yate Town Reserves 1 Patchway Town 4
YATE Town Reserves suffered a 4-1 home defeat at the hand of Patchway Town and it was all down to hat-trick boy Matt Davies.
Davies opened his account on 15 minutes when he nipped in behind the home defence who seemed confused to beat the keeper to the ball and slide it home.
Davies netted a second on the half hour when he swept home a low cross from the right.
A low drive from Jordan Yeo on 38 minutes to make it 3-0 put the visitors well in control, but just before the break Yate hit back with with a headed goal from Sam Hipisley. Two
minutes into the second half Davies completed his hat-trick when the home keeper fumbled the ball and the striker made no mistake.
