FROMSIDE gymnasts are celebrating after collecting medals at the South West Age Groups and Challenge Cup.
The girls took part in the competitions last weekend in Melksham, Wiltshire.
The six gymnasts brought home 16 apparatus and overall medals between them from the competitions.
In the level five age groups, eight-year-old Erin Cozens won three medals by gaining a silver overall, a gold on floor exercise and bronze on bars.
Cozens’ training partner, Gracie Crozier, also aged eight ,finished fifth overall and took silver on floor and bronze on vault exercises.
In the combined competition, where their scores from the events and the grades competition held in April are added together, Crozier finished second and Cozens was fourth.
This now becomes their South West ranking for this year.
In the Challenge Cup, 13-year-old Ashonte Bird and 11-year-old Emily Todd competed in the Espoir age group.
Bird won a bronze overall, a silver on floor and bronze on bars.
Todd finished fifth overall gaining herself silver on both vault and beam.
In the junior age group, 14-year-old Jaime Wall competed, finishing fifth overall and picking up a bronze on bars. Competing in the senior age group, 16-year-old Amy Palmer took silver medals overall and on all four apparatus.
Everyone at Fromeside Gymnastics are very proud of the gymnast.
