CHIPPING Sodbury Cricket Club's preparations for the new season are already underway with the commencement of indoor nets.
Sessions take place at Yate International Academy on Thursdays (8-10pm), with players of all abilities welcome to attend.
Sodbury run five senior Saturday sides, with the first XI competing in the West of England Premier League's Gloucestershire division under the captaincy of former Gloucestershire spinner Jamie Rendell.
The 2nds are in Division Two of the Gloucestershire County League while the 3rds, 4ths and 5ths are members of the Bristol & District League.
Chairman Andy Shield said: "We are a friendly and welcoming club able to offer a game of cricket to players of all abilities.
"We enjoyed a successful 2016 on the pitch and look forward to making further progress this year."
