Division 1: Strong performances from Tony Clarkson and Stan Shilton, each scoring maximums, gave Woodchester B an eight two home win over their A team club mates.

Yate drew five all with the two player visiting Cirencester team, Will Berkley was man of the match going unbeaten on the night for the home side. Thornbury A had a comfortable 8-2 home victory against the visiting two player Phoenix B team, Dave Reeves was unbeaten on the night and finished as man of the match for Thornbury.

Frampton A had little reward when they entertained Phoenix A, Liwu Wei (playing up) and Dave Hadley each scored maximums as the visitors left with a nine one victory.

Division 2: Cam A earned six valuable points as they defeated the visiting Randwick B 6-4, although it was Tirian Jakes who finished with a maximum and was man of the match for the visitors. A good team performance from Phoenix C saw them draw at five apiece against the second placed Thornbury B, Mark Attwood won a max and finished as man of the match for the visitors.

Whiteshill B claimed the bragging rites as they defeated their A team club mates by a 7-3 score line, Paul Hopgood was on fine form scoring a maximum for the “home” side. High flying Randwick A beat the two visiting players from Nailsworth A 8-2, Steve Charlwood finished unbeaten for the hosts.

Frampton C and Cam A finished at five all when the two sides met at Frampton, Harry Prescott finished with a maximum and was man of the match for the visitors.

Division 3: The score finished all square at five all when the two sides at the top of the division clashed, a maximum from Sam McIvor who finished as man of the match helped his Phoenix F team share the points with their Woodchester C hosts.

The struggling Phoenix E went down 2-8 at home to the visiting Whiteshill C, Chris Kowalczuk and Terry Jordan each scoring maximums for the visitors. Phoenix D beat the visiting Randwick C 8-2, Bruce Ind was on form and scored another maximum for the home side to help his side pull away from the relegation zone.

Thornbury C drew five all against the visiting Woodchester D who had travelled with only two players. It was Colin Bruton who finished as man of the match while scoring a maximum for the visitors. Randwick D were overpowered by the visiting Woodchester C losing by two points to eight. Barry Morgan was unbeaten for the visitors and finished as man of the match.

Division 4: Phoenix H and Chris Hampton in particular were too strong for the visiting Forest Green D beating them by seven points to three. Forest Green C beat the visiting Cam C 7-3 but George Thomas finished as man of the match for the visitors with a maximum score.

Randwick E had a fine 7-3 victory against the visiting Nailsworth B, Theo Laffort finished as man of the match as he scored a maximum for the home side. Nailsworth C didn’t disappoint ensuring all the matches in the division finished 7-3 this week.

Dave Watson (man of the match) and Mike May each returned maximums against the visiting Thornbury D.
