YATE Town came narrowly close to their second successive Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West this year but had to settle for a draw at Paulton Rovers on Saturday.
The game was goal-less and looking likely to be the same at the end when the Bluebells went ahead from a goal from Asya Corrick with five minutes of the match to go.
Yate were heading for that win when Paulton struck back in the dying seconds with an injury time goal from Soloman Wheatley to deny the Bluebells that victory.
However, that is four points from six in the last two games for Yate.
