Premier Division One
Taunton 2 Yate Ladies 0
A much-improved Yate team left Taunton disappointed not to have capitalised on opportunities and positive play.
An evenly matched game in terms of effort and work rate saw the victors go ahead from a well worked short corner.
Yate fought back but were to be undone by a defensive slip that allowed an already advancing Taunton front line and midfield free reign in their attacking D.
Opportunities began to be created, and Yate were in the ascendancy but could not find the critical move or finish to bring the game back to them.
* Yate ladies second team continue their unbeaten run this week by beating Westberries thirds 7-1, giving the team a five-point lead at the top of the league.
