OLVESTON United continued their good form with a 4-0 win over Lebeq last Wednesday evening (11).
The deadlock was broken after 15 minutes when Luke Garbacz whipped in a corner which saw the ball ricochet off the Lebeq goalkeeper and end up in the back of the net.
After 25 minutes, Russell Driver pressed a Lebeq defender who was caught dwelling on the ball, winning possession and driving into the penalty area where he was fouled, giving Olveston a penalty, which George Williams dispatched.
Just before half-time, George Williams squared the ball to Luke Garbacz who applied a powerful finish as Olveston went in 3-0 up.
On the 75 minute mark, Alex Thornton started another Olveston move out on the right-hand side, finding Matthew Knight who then crossed to Ben Garraway who headed home for his first goal of the season.
