RUSS CHURCH bagged a brace, including a late winner, to secure a rare away win for Yate Town last night.
The striker also missed a penalty but Yate still went on to record only their second league win on their travels this season at Bedfont Green and their first since early September.
The home side went ahead through John Constant in the 37th minute but Yate equalised seven minutes later when Church headed in Matt Hale's cross.
On 55 minutes Church had a penalty saved by Bedfont Green goalkeeper Gary Ross, but Yate only had to wait one minute for captain Edd Vahid to put them ahead.
Russell Miner equalised on 75 minutes before Church snatched victory with one minute left after a poor clearance by Ross.
