JOIN us at Newark Park on Sunday 20 July for a wonderful display of classic cars, including some stunning Austin Seven models. From 11am to 5pm visitors will be able to admire all these classic cars on the lawns around our beautiful, National Trust owned house.

Apart from admiring the classic cars and finding out all about them from their owners, visitors will also be able to explore the house, the gardens and our beautiful estate, with some great woodland and glade walks.

House Manager Stefanie van Stokkom explains how this will be a great event for the whole family: ‘This grand collection of classic cars will be really impressive and after visiting the cars I can recommend our current exhibition in the house, which is called ‘Silver and Thread’. This features some brilliant handmade jewellery and embroidery, inspired by Newark Park. We also have trails for the children, who can also pick up their ’50 things’ activities booklet in the visitor reception.’

Our visitor reception will be selling ice cream, plants and gifts and our resident caterers will be on site to serve drinks, cakes, sandwiches and bacon rolls. Or take a picnic down to our lakeside garden and enjoy beautiful views towards the Mendip hills. Dogs on the lead are welcome too in the gardens and the estate. A great day out and keep an eye out for other events we will be hosting at Newark Park this season!

Standard admission applies for this event (£7.90 adult admission, £3.90 child admission, £19.70 family admission – under 5s are free); National Trust members have free admission. More details from
