ON Saturday, October 18, Under the Edge Literature Festival will be holding a day of story telling and book talks for children and young people of all ages.

Leading children's authors will be visiting the Chipping Hall in Wotton-Under-Edge for interactive book-based talks and activities, starting with a free session for under eights and their parents with local author Maria Little from11am until noon. At 2pm Jessica Spanyol, author of the 'Carlo the Giraffe' books will host a session for 8-11 to year olds. The day concludes with a book talk for teens at 4pm with acclaimed, best-selling author Jamila Gavin; author of The Magic Orange Tree, Three Indian Princesses, The Singing Bowls and Blackberry Blue: a collection of six original Fairy Tales. All talks will take place in the Chipping Hall in Wotton-Under-Edge.
