LONDON 5-piece, Dexters, are going to take their live shows back on the road to promote their debut album and are stopping off at Bristol's Louisiana on March 20.

With their infectious energy and the big tunes to match, this five piece are a force to be reckoned with on the live scene. Having already supported The Courteeners, Miles Kane, The View and Glasvegas on UK tours, they are set to re-embark on their own extensive tour in early 2014.

"The time is right for us," says frontman Tom. "We hear it everywhere we go that people are ready for a band with big tunes and I believe we are the band that they are waiting for. We've done over 300 gigs in last two years, we've played everywhere and built a fan-base the proper way. People go mental at our gigs. We're ready to make the next step up with this album - it's 11 big tracks, not one radio made single and see you later, that's your lot. Trust me, it's one of the best debut albums in years and we can't wait for people to hear it."

Dexters is formed of frontman Tom Rowlett, guitarists Chris Heggie and Ben Debo, bassist Jamie Harris and drummer Chris Mardon. Recently signed to Acid Jazz Records, the quintet have already caused a big stir with their recently released single "The Hard Way" and previous single "Start To Run".

Emulating the sheer punk and visceral aggression of The Clash or The Specials onstage, the bands army of fans are growing rapidly and the response to their live shows more ferocious each performance they play. Dexters lung-bustling intensity, exuberance on stage and rough charm means they are sure-fire ones to watch as we head into the new year.
