IT's been a busy couple of years for Glenn Tilbrook, although he is managing to 'squeeze' another totally stripped down solo acoustic show at The Prince Albert, Rodborough, this May.

Glenn will be showcasing songs from his new album ‘Happy Ending’ (due for release April 28), which is stripped back and beautifully layered with a totally different feel to anything he has released before.

Glenn Tilbrook is one of the UK’s best-loved musicians, thanks to a career with Squeeze and on his own that has spanned 30 years, spawning Top-Ten hits all around the world such as ‘Cool For Cats’, ‘Tempted’ and ‘Up The Junction’. With his two solo albums, ‘The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook’ and ‘Transatlantic Ping-Pong’, he proved he’s lost none of the joie-de-vivre that became Squeeze’s trademark.

The last few years have been extremely busy for Glenn. 2010 saw him return to his roots with Squeeze and release the album ‘Spot The Difference’, a collection of 14 of their best-loved hits, re-recorded by the band to be as close to the original versions as possible (whilst challenging their fans to spot the difference!). As well as the album release the band took to the road with their biggest UK tour in over 10 years, a tour that capped an exhilarating 2010 for Glenn and his Squeeze band mate Chris Difford.

Clearly, for Glenn Tilbrook playing is about enjoying the moment and it’s that desire and enthusiasm that sets him apart from so many of his peers. Whether he’s playing to a club audience or to a festival crowd, Glenn Tilbrook still gets the buzz from playing and making music. Catch this tremendous performer while you can.

The concert takes place on Wednesday, May 14. Visit www.glenntilbrook.com for details.
