ORIGINAL blues comes to the Oldridge Bar at Kingshill House, Dursley on Friday, April 25. Kevin Brown is a highly respected professional songwriter, recording artist and performer of over 30 years standing, renowned for his touch and tone. Heralded by both the public and other artists such as Mark Knopfler and Albert King, as a leading light in the world of slide guitar and roots music, Kevin has managed to keep a fresh approach to his craft whilst still paying respect to the blues masters of the past. His original material is inspired by everyday life and people. His many live performances vary from the main stage at Glastonbury to the many beer joints in Texas, where he once lived.
Those who would like to eat can also enjoy a reasonably priced home cooked supper. The Bar and Kitchen open at 7pm, with the entertainment starting at 8pm. Entry is free, but the hat is passed around.
