THE funki dreds of Soul II Soul have just been announced as headliners on the Main Stage for Saturday night (June 7) at Gloucester's Sportbeat Festival.
Soul II Soul join an already exciting line-up for the Festival, which also includes the exciting prospect of Jaguar Skills doing a set on Saturday night and the energetic, East London 5 piece band, Dexters. They join the likes of Razorlight, Hoosiers, Lucy Spraggan, the oridinary boys and Matt Cardle, who are all set to appear at the Oxstalls Sports Park on Sunday, June 8.
This is the second year for Sportbeat, which offers Music, Sports and Culture with a Gloucester flavour and eco-friendly overtones for all the family.
New for 2014, however, is the Academy Stage, a chance for local U18 acts to showcase their talent, and as an additional treat the sport of volleyball has been add to the Rugby7s and Netball tournaments.
The GuildHall Stage headliners are up and coming Canary Swing, with the second headliner yet to be announced.
