HOBBS Douglas (Doug) John Died peacefully at home on 9th September 2021 aged 88, after a long illness bravely borne. He was gentle and patient, much loved by Joan, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He'll be sadly missed by all and remembered fondly as a teacher and organist helping many children and adults enjoy making music. There will be a private family cremation. A memorial service will be arranged later. The Doctors and Staff at the Culverhay Surgery and the District Nurses, OTs and Physios cared for him most lovingly over his illness. We were so grateful for all their support which enabled us to care for him as he wished, to the end of his days.
