Notice of a public path diversion order under section 257 and paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 STROUD DISTRICT COUNCIL EASTINGTON FOOTPATHS 26 and 27 SECTION 257 STOPPING UP ORDER 2019 (Order)

1. The above Order was made on the 14th November 2019. The effect of the Order will be to stop up the following sections of the public footpaths:



a. Eastington Footpath 26 situated between points D (OS Grid Reference SO 79156, 06488) and E (OS Grid Reference SO 79151, 06394) marked on the Order plan by a broken black line which measures approximately 140 metres long and unknown width



b. Eastington Footpath 27 situated between points J (OS Grid Reference SO 79291, 06393) and K (OS Grid Reference SO 79239, 06394) marked on the attached plan by a broken black line which measures approximately 43 metres long and unknown width



2. A copy of the Order and plan (reference Eastington Footpaths 26 and 27 Section 257 Stopping Up Order 2019) may be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices at Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB between the hours of 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.30pm Fridays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). Copies of the order and plan may be obtained there at the price of £10.



3. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Craig Hallett, Solicitor and Deputy Monitoring Officer at Legal Services, Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB no later than the 18th December 2019, being 28 days following the date of publication of this notice.



4. If no representations or objections are made, or if made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
