(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON A411 ELSTREE ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD AND A41 TYLERS WAY, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON A411 ELSTREE ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD AND A41 TYLERS WAY, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE Is given that Hertfordshire County Council Intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of A411 Elstree Road, Borehamwood from a point



180m north east of its junction with the A41 Tylers Way/A41 Norm Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) roundabout south westwards to its junction with the A41 Tylers Way/A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) roundabout, a distance of approximately 180m.

2. that length of A41 Tylers Way, Watford from its junction with the A411 Elstree Road/A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 180m. The Order is needed because water main division works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.



If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 June 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 HYDE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Hyde Road, Watford from its westernmost junction with A411 Hempstead Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 134m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A411 Hempstead Road, A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and A411

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH FRONTING NOS.197-205 GATESHEAD ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath fronting Nos.197-205 Gateshead Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Gateshead Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 39m ("the Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Gateshead Road, the footpath fronting Nos.171-179 Gateshead Road, the footpath situated the rear of Nos.181 -195 Gateshead Road and the footpath fronting Nos.197-205

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the

works are being earned out. However vehicular access to

properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible

throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 31 May

2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions

specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on

or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A404 Chorleywood Road, Rickmansworth/A404 Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood from its junction with Chestnut Avenue north westwards to its junction with Parkfield a distance of approximately 520m ("the length of Roads"). An alternative route will be via A404 Chorleywood Road, A412 (Rectory Road/Uxbridge Road/Denham Way/North Orbital Road/ Denham Avenue), A40 Oxford Road, A413 (Amersham Road/ London Road/Amersham Road/London Road East) and A404 (Stanley Hill/White Lion Road/Mont Station Road/Amersham Road/Chenies Road/ Rickmansworth Road). The Order is needed because bridge waterproofing works are proposed to be executed near the length of Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 June 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF UPPER HIGHWAY, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Upper Highway, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.3 Upper Highway north westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Upper Highway, Hunton Bridge Hill, Hamilton Road, Gallows Hill, Gallows Hill Lane, Hazelwood Lane and Upper Highway

or via Upper Highway, Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge Hill and Upper Highway.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OXHEY ROAD/WATFORD HEATH, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Oxhey Road/Watford Heath, Watford from its junction with A4125 Eastbury Road south eastwards to its junction with A4008 Pinner Road a distance of approximately 849m ("the length of Roads"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A4125 Eastbury Road, A411 Chalk Hill and A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road) or via A4008 Pinner Road and A4125 Eastbury Road. The Order is needed because railway bridge repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 June 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OLD SHIRE LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old Shire Lane, Chorleywood from a point in line with the southern boundary of 'Keepers Lea' north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the

works are being earned out. However vehicular access to

properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible

throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because railway track and tree cutting works

are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 31 May

2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions

specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs

on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ascot Road, Watford from its junction with the access road leading to the 'Ascot Road Community Free School' north westwards for a distance of approximately 215m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the

works are being carried out. However vehicular access to

properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible

throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because water main connection works are

proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 June

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Greenfield Avenue, Carpenders Park from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.31 Greenfield Avenue south westwards to a point in line with the westbound boundary of No.33 Greenfield Avenue a distance of approximately 18m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Greenfield Avenue, The Courtway and Greenfield Avenue.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with the A412 Park Road/The Quadrant roundabout south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 70m.



An alternative route will be via A412 (Park Road/Rectory Road), A404 Riverside Drive and Church Street

2. that length of Talbot Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with High Street south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of Wharf Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with Talbot Road south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.



4. that length of Berry Avenue, Watford from its junction with Ash Tree Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 341 m. An alternative route will be via Ash Tree Road, Leggatts Wood Avenue and Cherry Tree Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sergehill Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with High Street north eastwards to its junction with St Albans Lane, a distance of approximately 151m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Church Hill, Bedmond Road, A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/Hemel Hempstead Road), Bedmond Lane, Potters Crouch Lane, Bedmond Lane and St Albans Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
