Temporary Closure Of Footpath Mmh 176 Canal Footpath (Minchinhampton Parish) Stroud District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MMH 176 from its junction with Knapp Lane extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 320 metres to its junction with Public Footpath MMH 177. The closure is necessary to protect the public while hammer piling works take place.
The Order will come into force on the 3rd May 2022 and it is anticipated that the said footpath will close on that day until 2nd August 2022. However, the Order can permit the closure of the said footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. Alternative route: as signed on the Order Map. Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works. Date: 27th April 2022

Temporary Road Closure 41277 The Firs To Whitegates (Chalford Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 41277 The Firs to Whitegates from its junction with The Pitch to its junction with Brownshill Road for a distance of approximately 100 metres. The reason for the closure is to install a new sewer connection The road and footway are expected to be closed from the 16th May 2022 to 25th May 2022 only or until the works have been completed.
